I just wanted to share something I learned about travel in South America. South American Explorers is a great place for solo travelers in Buenos Aires, Quito, Lima and Cusco to find friendship and information. I wrote about it on my blog, boldlygosolo.com:

Here's the link to that specific entry: http://boldlygosolo.typepad.com/boldly_go_solo/2008/01/darn-you-missed.html

There are plenty of other tips on solo travel on the blog. Enjoy.
